9th, Meeting Location:
Our
next meeting will be held at the North Las Vegas
Airport in the Grand
Canyon room
located In the main Terminal bldg. at 7:30 pm.
This will be an awards presentation meeting
followed by our ICE CREAM
SOCIAL.

Presidents Corner January 2008:
We had a great turnout at our December meeting to hear Ray
McCrea’s story of his LongEZ trip from Holland to South
Africa.
Between 35 and 40 people enjoyed the photos and narrative of
this incredible flight. I for one was
most impressed with
Ray’s “can do” attitude. Not sure I have that much courage.
Our meeting was short but included the election of our 2008
Officers (see list below). After
everyone had their fill, there were
just a few slices of pizza and sub
sandwiches left over. We will have
leftover refreshments for a couple meetings though.
Our January meeting will be held at North Las Vegas on the 9th. We will be distributing awards for club
volunteers including
Young Eagles ground ops folks. I’ve also heard a rumor that there may be
some ice cream to sweeten the mix.

Meeting Minutes December 14th 2007:
President Terry Frazier called the meeting to order
at 7:30pm. Guests included Hale Benton,
and Vince and Ann Capizzi.
New members included Randy and Kelly Marks.
Guest Speaker Ray McCrea from Chapter 663 was
introduced by member Roger Hansen. Ray
gave a very enjoyable
talk about his LongEZ trip from Holland to South Africa.
President Frazier reminded the membership of the
time January Meeting 1/9/2008 7:30PM at North
Las Vegas where
2007 volunteer awards will be presented.

Election
of officers was held after reading the list of nominations and requesting any
nominations from the floor.
The following Chapter members were elected to the
respective offices for 2008:

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45pm with a reminder
of our next meeting at North Las Vegas Terminal on Wednesday January 9th
at 7:30pm.
