Presidents Corner:
We have a lot of things to cover at this month's meeting and a very short time frame to complete it in if we are going to visit Nevada Aircraft Engines, LLC in Henderson. Our primary function is the ballot to select Officers and Board of Directors for the next term, which is also on the ballot for selecting a 1 or 2 year term for both the Officers and the Board of Directors. The entire meeting needs to be completed by 8:00 PM so we can drive or caravan to the program location. In order to facilitate our short meeting, would you please return the email ballot to Terry by Sunday, November 8th.

Additionally we will need to select the meal options for our December Christmas meeting (this includes spouses or guest) to be held at the Landings Restaurant on Saturday the 12th. After the dinner we will have a presentation by Dick Rutan or Bob Deiro (Mr. Las Vegas of flying history in Las Vegas). We are waiting on confirmation and should have that completed by the November meeting. We will have two meal selections and pricing at the meeting. Pre-payment will be required, and non members and guests are invited providing we do not exceed the capacity of the Landings Restaurant.

We have discussed in the past the purchase of tools for the chapter to be used by our members. It has been requested on several occasions that we purchase a set of electronic scales for aircraft weighing. We can discuss this and vote on it provided the majority of the members concur.

Please send in your vote to Terry Frazier.

Thank you,

Roger Hansen
President EAA Chapter 1300
